  6. Rudi Olivier says:

    Good Day.

I have a neighbor who has a very big toxic alien tree in his garden.
My problem is this, The tree is overhanging into my garden. The tree makes a big mess the seeds are toxic and my animals are getting sick. The mess is always blowing into my house.

    What can I do?

  7. Viv says:

    Hi Rudi

In the absence of Kim who usually deals with environmental issues, I phoned Janet Holgate, chairlady of the FHVRRA. She suggested that you cut down all the branches of the tree that hang over into your property. You could also voice your concerns to your neighbour and ask him if he would remove the tree. Failing that, get hold of the Parks Board offices in Noordhoek or speak to Desiree Mentor at the Fish Hoek Civic Centre. I hope this helps.
