What to wear: Hiking or walking footwear with firm rubber soles and good support; sun protection (sun block lotion, hat, sunglasses); warm windproof/waterproof clothing – remember weather can change en route.
What to bring: Something to eat and plenty of fluids.

Directions to meeting places for FOSNA walks
GATE 1, OU KAAPSE WEG: On right hand side at the top of Ou Kaapse Weg when travelling towards Fish Hoek. Entrance is free for Wild Card holders. If you do not have a Wild Card the fee is R15 per adult.
GATE 2, OU KAAPSE WEG: On left hand side just over the top of Ou Kaapse Weg when travelling towards Fish Hoek. There is a R5 parking fee which is paid to the authorized car guard when leaving.
SILVERMINE RESERVOIR PARKING AREA: Same entrance as for Gate 1 above. Once inside, follow tarred road to its end – reservoir parking on the right. If there is a car guard in attendance, you may wish to tip him when leaving.
PINEHAVEN: At top of Red Hill, Simonstown, turn right at sign to Pinehaven
LONG BEACH, KOMMETJIE: From Kommetjie Road, turn right into Kirsten Road then park at Long Beach parking
GODFREY ROAD: At end of Boyes Drive, Kalk Bay side
SUNBIRD CENTRE: Off Ou Kaapse Weg opposite turning to Noordhoek, turn left and take road all the way to the end, parking on left
BERG ROAD, FISH HOEK: From Kommetjie Roadk up Highway into Berg Road, almost to the end. Parking on the right in the dip in the road
CLOVELLY PARKING: Just off Main Road, on left hand side towards Clovelly Country Club
