The 24 hr emergency service has the facilities and personnel to deal with most medical accidents and emergencies.The 24 hr Maternity unit has an official ‘Baby-friendly’ creditation. There are 65 public in-patient beds and 2 beds in a private Bay area for adults and children. The Outpatients’ department offers the full package of services of a District Hospital as well as having a dedicated unit for the management of HIV (including counselling, testing and providing anti-retroviral treatment)
