Kelly-Amber Jones, a Grade 12 student at Fish Hoek High, has been selected to represent South Africa in syncronized ice skating. Her team will be travelling to Colorado Springs in April 2010 where they will skate against 23 other teams from various countries around the world.
This is a dream come true for Kelly-Amber, something she has worked towards for the past 10 years, however, it is very costly and her family have to fit the bill for everything from their Protea (SA) tracksuits, to airfare, accomodation, competition fees etc.
I would like to appeal to anyone from our community who is able to help , in the way of sponsorship or donations. Please contact me should you require further details. My contact number is 083 497 37843. Leigh Jones
