My son’s girlfriend, Vanessa, and I were standing in the road contemplating the very flat tyre on her car and pondering our options. None of our menfolk around, the big pump that fits on the bicycle did not appear to fit too well on the tyre and we had hauled out the jack but did not quite know where to attach it. Yip, I know, I know, we should not be such helpless females but the truth is that we have never needed to know how to change a tyre because a Sir Galahad has always pitched up to help in previous situations. Then Lyson Zulu, owner of Deckworld pulled up, offered his services and within minutes Vanessa could be on her way. No wheels fell off, as they might have done had we been left to our own devices! A big thank you, Lyson. Next time we need carpentry done we know whom to call.
