On Sunday 22 May the Valley Development Projects (VDP) offices in Masiphumelele were broken into and their computers and other office equipment were stolen. Not content just with their illegally gained spoils the perpetrators created further havoc by setting alight the container housing the offices, destroying the filing cabinet, carpeting and curtains and the remaining furniture.
