TWO FISH HOEK LIFESAVERS WIN GOLD AT 2012′s LONDON OLYMPICS

Not many lifesaving clubs in the world could claim 2 gold medal winners at 2012′s London Olympics, yet two former Fish Hoek Lifesaving Club  ‘Nipper’ members did exactly that by way of Marilyn Agliotti and
Murray Stewart earlier this month.

Marilyn as a former Fish Hoek national junior beach-sprint champion, claimed her second Olympic gold medal in London as a member of the Netherlands Hockey team – her 1st gold was at the 2008 Beijing Olympics for the Netherlands as well  -   whereas Murray is also a former Fish Hoek Nipper who was in Australia’s 1000m canoe-sprint gold-medal winning K4 crew. at this year’s London Olympics.

Not bad for us local-jokals hey?
